Guidance,Counseling&CommunitySupport
The Guidance, Counseling & Community Support program centres the emotional, psychological, and relational dimensions of social exclusion. Muundo Foundation recognises that stigma does not only operate in public spaces - it is internalised, carried in relationships, and shaped through everyday interactions.
Through peer networks, facilitated dialogue, and strategic counseling partnerships, the program creates safe, affirming spaces where people can process lived experience, rebuild confidence, and strengthen a sense of belonging. Rather than positioning support as one-directional care, Muundo emphasises mutual exchange, peer leadership, and collective resilience.
Activities under this program are designed to reduce isolation, nurture self-worth, and enable people experiencing social exclusion to engage with their communities from a position of dignity and agency. By integrating care into cultural, artistic, and community-based settings, Muundo ensures that advocacy is sustained not only by visibility, but by well-being, trust, and human connection.
