Activity Context: World Vitiligo Month 2023 – Integrated Physical & Digital Campaign
During World Vitiligo Month 2023, Muundo implemented a coordinated visual advocacy campaign focused on member-led representation and message clarity.

Professional photography featuring people living with vitiligo was produced specifically for public education and advocacy use. These visuals were transformed into carefully designed campaign assets and circulated consistently across Muundo's digital platforms, newsletters, and partner networks throughout the month.


Importantly, both imagery and messaging were developed from within the community. Members contributed their own photographs, voices, and narratives, ensuring that representation remained grounded in lived experience rather than external interpretation.

The campaign prioritised continuity over virality — maintaining presence across the entire observance period and reinforcing accurate narratives through repetition, dignity, and visual quality.
